Well, I've quit at least 3 jobs because of this so take this with a grain of salt, but what helped me stick it out as long as I did was a) keeping focus on what the job enabled for me, like setting financial goals and tracking the wins on that front, and b) using the non-pressured time for things I did actually care about, so I felt productive overall. Like browser window 1 has work stuff that isn't due for hours, browser window 2 has me updating my website or building one for a nonprofit I care about and took on as a side quest.
Maybe you can find meaning or gratitude in something the job provides, like health insurance. If you have had a trip to the pharmacy, doctor, or surgeon, think of what the bill might have been without insurance provided by that stupid job.
Also, what are your strengths? Research shows people are happier when they find new ways to express one or more of their strengths each week. You may find these exercises will put you in a better mindset when you’re interviewing for your next role.
