I see many posts saying that we get a lot of calls during Notice Period.
What do you mean by getting calls? Like even without applying??
Because few posts say "I'm getting lot of calls, but only selecting a few to attend".
Please explain how do we get calls. I have just started my notice period and need some serious suggestions.

Not sure if I understood your situation correctly, but a Senior Con in our team went on maternity leave post end of Performance Cycle (Mar-19 to Mar-20). She still got promoted to Manager in Sep-2020.
So I guess it depends on how your team leaders support it and how your general performance has been considered.
