Hi everyone, I am 4.9 years experienced , I joined Fractal 3 months ago as a data engineer, but still haven't got any project. Process is so slow that I have received only 4 to 5 project calls. I switched in hopes that will learn the new tech and tools. But now i am starting to forget even the one i knew. Should i go for change or wait a little more time as fractal is reputed in AI/ML? I have interview lined up with Impetus as for now. Would it be better choice?
Hi fishes,I have around 5.2 yrs of hands on exp in data engg. and able to clear service based companies interviews easily. Now I want to switch to product based companies as I am looking for some good work, good salary but I am not really strong in dsa as it's not part of my daily work.I don't really use trees and graphs as part of my daily work.
How shall I switch to product based companies considering DSA is their 1st round itself.what level of DSA can I expect from companies for data engineer position?
Currently interviewing with Facebook (Meta) and looking for advice from other Technical Recruiters that recently joined. I’d be leaving a great company after less than 1 year, but I’d get the chance to upgrade my leveling (perhaps even mgmt) with the bonus of getting experience at a FAANG company. Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

You don’t need to take the cloud practitioner beforehand. I had azure experience when I took that test, and I passed pretty easily with one weekend of prep. It’s annoying at times because it can be aws specific but tons of concepts will carry over.
Thank you, this is super helpful!
As a data engineer with roughly 1-2 years AWS experience, it required a dedicated effort to do well. Went through Stephane Maarek’s Udemy course and also carefully studied Tutorials Dojo’s practice exams. In total it was about 6 months of on and off studying. Coming from the data background it was initially tough for me to get through the networking and compute sections but the practice exams and use cases discussed in the coursework helped me to familiarize myself with the concepts. Wishing you all the best with your studying! Please feel free to DM me if you have any questions
Google 1 - if you read my comment properly, I said 6 months of on-and-off preparation. Meaning maybe a total of 2 months or so with about 2 hours per day. No need to make smart comments for no reason
