So I recently applied for a position as a training specialist, but I feel like I’m more than qualified to look for other roles. I have work in finance, but I do have my PMP, but I haven’t led any large projects, just assisted on them any advice to a young professional that just graduated with an MPA Fiserv, Inc

Hello, I'm looking at a position within Paypal. My question, what is the work life balance, expectation for office (hybrid/remote/other) and is the pay comparable to other companies? Reviewing Director and Senior Director roles on the business side. I have over 15 years experience with multiple degrees. TIA!

I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

Mega funds usually do not come to campus but we do have events with MM funds and some UM. Again this is really only going to be applicable for those with prior IB or PE experience. We also have had a couple firms come to campus for Ops roles targeted at consultants.
I believe most people with reputable fund experience are able to “upgrade” but it obviously depends on what you looking for. Like a non NYC LMM to an NYC MM is way easier than trying to go from a MM to a megafund. Also probably depends on sector experience. It’s easier to get HCOL areas of you have like tech or healthcare investing background, assuming you even want that.
Got it that’s helpful. Any views on the private equity program / club?
Below HSW, you’ll find a lot of funds ran by Booth/CBS grads, and they hire a lot of alum. You’ll also find some alum who crack into the megas/UMM and those are your ways in to the processes
Anecdotal, but I knew a couple of students from class of 23 who actually had to go into PE (not megafund though) as a backup after graduating bc they couldn’t break into tech or VC.
New funds, neither of them had a PE background, it was startup or tech but in a finance role
