I wouldn’t recommend this as your criteria for choosing between the two firms. Perhaps you exhausted all other questions and you’re just curious but a) conditions now aren’t indicative of your start date and b) will be answered in volatile ways based on an individuals personal experience, geography, etc that won’t inform you anyway.
I recommend deciding based on other factors - be that geo/office location of your offers (if they vary), staffing models, type of work you want to do, people you know at each firm, etc.
Good luck!
BCG is poop, join McK
Put that on your ugly ass slides
For utilization and not being penalized too harshly if its out if your control - go mck.
Literally never been on the beach in the 2.5 years I’ve been here
Beach depends on office but yes there is a beach in NAMR.
Personally i'd go Mck.
Make your decision based on where you think you'll find your people. At McK if you liked your interviewers you'll be able to reach out to them to help get you staffed when you join. At BCG staffing guides you more.
McK gives more flexibility with staffing/ travel etc, BCG has a better expenses/ travel policy. McK has a better brand, both offer the same types of exits.
Happy to respond to a DM.
Source: picked BCG the first time, realised I had made a mistake and then switched over to McK.

Demand is robust, bonuses fully funded etc. it is less busy this time of year but only in a normal way.
Nope
When are you joining?
Mmmm not sure I would be asking about beach time at either firm if not joining very soon. Things change fast.
Had two week beach time this year.
Beach is always thick this time of year. People that want to transition wait it out for their bonus then leave in January.
I haven’t been in the beach since I joined in the spring so it’s really variable
