Almost 100%, can’t wait! All of these people whining about it can go work at the 7-eleven down the street from them.
Gee, I wonder why no one wants to work for the big 4 anymore.
Hopefully companies will start to open up. Let people work from home, people are tired of leaving the house at 7 am just to sit in traffic to go to an office where they isolate all day. I understand companies have these multi-year leases and want to justify that cost but just throw some events with free food and have all the high level staff be there and host these once a month until lease is over then downsize.
Back in my early consulting career, a Partner said “If you’re in the office, you’re not making money. Get out of here”. Consulting will continue to be +90% either at the client site or WFH. Go into the firm offices for internal working sessions, recruiting, special events. Unless you prefer to go in more often. That’s obviously for the consultants. Our corporate services people are already RTO to some degree.
Sounds like a good time to pursue my dog walking career 🥲
At least at my firm I doubt it, 3 days a week is the max people turn up. My manager told me as long as billables are good and you aren't taking the piss they don't mind. I know PCs who do 3 days a month I know seniors who do 4 times a year in the office etc.
No way they are getting everyone back in. Not enough space and people now know they can get it in from home. Also not all partners are going to want to come back in. Some brown noses will come in and make others do the same but many people will not enforce compliance. Also for those who are establishment connected or drive business they will be able to do what they want. The days of evil Corp are over.
Hi everyone, would love to connect with anyone that is an ex staff of Deloitt, PWC, or any of the Big firms..
What are you seeking? Over a decade of big 4 experience.
Like 90% of BAH is fully remote and will stay that way for some time.
I don’t see why they would. Think 3 days in office / at client on average is enough for most office-based roles (with exceptions of course)
