2 weeks for me. One week for a friend and one month for a family member. Heard a friend of a friend was only testing positive for 3 days.

About a week

8 days from first to last positive on rapid. Symptoms only lasted about 4-5 of those days.

17 days

Never and I’m sure I had it as I was directly exposed and had symptoms

It took me a avout a week

The 5 folks I know were 6-9/10 days

I accepted a FADP offer but I have lifelong crippling anxiety It leads to (TMI) diarrhea, I can’t sleep at night, among a lot of other issues. I see a therapist and have their support in school accom. I appear high functioning and ever since uni went remote my life and performance has only improved. I know I’m capable of getting the work done and they must see potential if they hired me. But I feel that if I ask for WFH or other accom. I’m gonna be shooting myself and my career in the foot.

I might get roasted for asking such a basic question but - how much do you budget for eating out ($ amount or % of budget)?

Pre pandemic I was traveling 5 days a week and just used left over per diem on the one night I went out with friends at home. During covid I stayed home. Now that I’m fully vaccinated and are many of my friends they want to go out to eat/drink. During covid I moved from a LCOL to here so I’m experiencing delayed sticker shock at the prices. Any tips?

Need your advice 🐠 fam, I started a new job 3 months ago and have noticed that my boss is execution focused (an operator), very tasked focused, and really only cares about “doing”. I’m very much a strategic, big picture thinker, and really enjoy that ideation part of work and first figuring stuff out before executing. So when my boss, just jumps to doing work with no brainstorming or collaboration, it really throws me off and makes the task let’s interesting for me. It’s like I have no… contd

Thoughts on Wealth Management as an industry? Offered a role to work under a senior FA and eventually take over the book (~$800M AUM and growing). It sounds great, but I am worried about the disruption this industry is facing with Robo advisors and other low cost, DIY options. I’d want to make sure the clients stay through the transition, and I don’t want to join a dying industry. Thoughts and advice?

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
