JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

I’ve never been promised a “big raise.” I have been told “there’s a raise freeze” pretty often though.

Started looking as soon as I didn’t get it and got an offer/$30k raise a month later

I got laid off the week I was supposed to get said promotion, so my range is about 6 months to never
If you can leave, then go. Force their hand. If they want to keep you, they’ll give you the raise to keep you.

I usually just wait until the dream is over.

6-8 months is what I've given my current situation.

This is smart. For those who don’t know, you have to fight the holding company for off cycle raises or raises much higher or lower than standard (whatever percentage that is each year).
3 years. I know, I'm a sucker for trusting corporations and their robotic representatives, but, hey, at least no one can say I'm not loyal, if naive.
