Hi fish what your thoughts on ascend program which is happening in globallogic for 2.9 year experience, for me they are offering package of 7.3 lpa this is going to be the my first switch as per my current package they have given almost 70% hike also I also asked for same. When I see people of my experience getting 12-15 LPA It seems I have to consider other options also I am serving notice period. Please suggest. GlobalLogic

That’s like asking a thousand people at what age they had their first kiss — it’s extremely variable. Also, try not compare yourself to others. It’s hard not to, but the sooner you are able to let that go, the easier things become. Go get ‘em.
I agree. Differences in leadership, clients, and opportunities within an agency really change trajectory. You should still know how your peers are doing so you aren’t being used, but at the end of the day it shouldn’t change self worth.
P.S. My first kiss was at 19.
Junior to Mid, 6 months, Mid to Senior, 1 Year. Pay increases both times. Started at 56k, then 69k, now 85k, all through same agency.
Been SAD 😢 for ~6 months.

The standard range for a junior before promotion in the larger markets is roughly a year. I’ve seen it stretch as long as 3 years and been as fast as 9 months. It all depends on how supportive your boss is and how many creative opportunities you’re given to produce something
My first agency hired juniors as mid levels so I was never really a junior 🤷♂️
