soo my sleep schedule is effed up, i keep trying to wake up early-ish (7am) but i’m lacking motivation and i wake up tired 😴
i stumbled upon this article that talked about this book. we always hear about the “secret” of strong leaders is that they wake up early. has anyone read this/tried it out?

Bain & Company Can someone recommend a good starting point on how to go around solving case interviews? What frameworks should I follow? I am kinda new to case interview and want to develop skills to solve them. Any books, online sources would be really appreciable. It’s been 6 months since I’ve been at Deloitte and consulting is not at all what I expected it to be - not trying to be rude but I genuinely hate it here. The hours are killing my mental health, lateral moves seem impossible, and am led on a wild goose chase of who to reach out to to address my concerns. I just graduated last year and am wondering; do I stick it out for another year and a half for better exit ops or jump ship? Don’t know how much longer I can take it. Any advice would be great

It's not the end of the world but had I remembered to lower it, I could have used the extra cash for my upcoming vacation

D5 I don't understand your post. If you are putting 10% in pretax, isn't that great that your bonus gets 10% put in pretax?

Ohhhh now I get it. Seriously? Ok, say we have vanguard set to take 10% of our paycheck for our 401k. When our paycheck when our bonus hits, it takes 10% of the total so part of our bonus gets taxed and put into our retirement account? Not cool. I was thinking how it would know the difference, but good point that it prob wouldn't
The issue is maxing out before the end of the year to spread out throughout the year and to gain maximize matching. I reset my withhold at the beginning of the year rounding down a percent or so in January and the reset after AIP hits to spread the rest to the end if the year.

Pretty sure match is not calculated with each paycheck. So if maxing early, you still receive the 1.5% of salary lump match in May timeframe.
Already maxed it suckers. Full bonus in my pocket. That $50K bonus is going to taste really good going down.

DD - probably nothing. D5 - federal is paid a lot less
I suspended my deduction altogether when I forgot to lower it before my milestone bonus! Fucking done with this shit for the year. PwC match is ridiculously small anyways.
