I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

Some programs are better for meeting people than others (booth, Wharton, Kellogg) but in general people are usually either partnered up or there’s a fundamental mismatch in what people want. MBAs are full of high earning men but not full of attractive women. Those at programs with undergrads or other grad programs may have more options.

If someone is in their mba at 25/26 and going after 21 year olds it’s not that weird
I did not. 6 people during my MBA class did get married though. But to people outside the program. Wasn’t much room to date anyone. Nearly 90% of us were already married or in long term relationships.
2 pairs in my cohort of 120 ended up marrying. Most were not single.
Were you in EMBA programs?
No. I was in a standard MBA program.
I met my spouse while getting my MBA so it is definitely possible. Actually there were several of us in our cohort that ended up dating and eventually getting married. It was a great place to meet people that is for sure.
