I usually work more than 40 hours (by choice) and I am salary. I just love my job and love what I get to do. However, I do have a side hustle as well to help pay the bills.
I see. I’m hourly and work about 50 hours a week. My SO is salary and works about the same amount of hours.
I do occasionally although I'm really trying hard not to...I'm salaried so it's pretty tough as it's expected for people in my role at my company
I totally get it. I’m thinking about getting a managerial position soon. Just thinking about the pros and cons.
50-60 hours (salary) and those hours are always high-stress. Things got bad during the pandemic and they just sort of stayed at that level. I have very much reached my limit and have started job hunting. Hopefully soon, I'll be doing my 40 hours and keeping those boundaries firm.
I work more than 40 hours in a week but I'm salaried so I don't get paid overtime but that's okay. I love my job and I'm happy to put in the extra hours.
