That's why I'm really insistent on only doing what my job requires based on the contract that I signed. Duties and obligations outside of my job contract that I'm not being paid for, even on a "temporary" basis, basically just mean a pay cut.

I’m in the same boat. I wish I can get paid more than what I actually make. Leadership does see my effort so I was able to get a higher bonus though, just not higher salary or a promotion.
All of them is what I am convinced. I always take on more than I should in hopes of a promotion and then it never comes. Just be careful with taking on all those extra things.
I’ve learned this the hard way before. I was never compensated for doing two jobs until I spoke up. When I finally did, they offered me a 10% raise same day. Lesson learned to always speak up if they start handing me responsibilities outside of my mandate
