How many YOE did you have when you applied or started working towards your MBA

Which industries are T15 B-schools best suited for? For example IB, VC, PE, Tech, consulting, startups etc… Curious since I’m still in the part of trying to figure out if I just want to stay in consulting after MBA or what else is out there post MBA if I end up going to a specific B-school that’s known to land new grads in certain industries.

MIT Sloan ($$$) vs. GSB (no $)? Post MBA goal is MBB or FAANG PM.

Hi all - Trying to pivot into Cybersecurity/Infosec after 7 + years of experience in Network Engineering. No security related certifications. I have enough work experience in network security to match 60-70% of job requirements for infosec positions. Capable to get CEH/OSCP certifications in a few months, but want to wait until I get my foot into the door before investing 2-3K on these certs. Any advice for me will be greatly appreciated.

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients).
