I do sales for a major engineering firm. Focused on new business and exploring new markets. Last year I was in the top 50% for order intake, and first in number of projects won along with number of new customers. I think this is extraordinary given the effort it takes to win new business.

Googling ADHD today (I’m having a distracted day) and super frustrated because I’m realizing that I was likely misdiagnosed as depressed for years. I was taking SSRIs and dealing with awful side effects while I struggled for so long. I finally got an official diagnosis about 10 years ago but was never taught the symptoms or how to manage them. I have been working remotely since covid getting nothing but positive reviews. My company is not remote friendly and is now telling me I have to return to the office or I lose my job. I just found out a co-worker had a remote position created for them, without a job posting, without an interview and without the experience required (normally a license or certification would be mandatory). I understand life isn’t fair but is there an ethical problem with this?

To the people that dump loads of $$$ on mobile or computer games as a way to chill after a crazy day, why do you do it? I am thinking there has to be better way to cope.
