Anyone got salary today??
Hey Folks. I hope I am posting in the right space about this. Anyone knows the updated(2022) compensation range for QA Automation Engineers with 2 years experience?
A general range at Glassdoor has an average base pay at 110K/year shorturl.at/dhuIZ and I am looking for more sources. Cheers

Lol you Evp, you should be telling us, the proletariat.
What makes you snots think I am a man?
Why are you guys mocking him? The point here is to ask this kind of stuff. He’s prob trying to figure out if it’s worth making the next step up. Mo Money, Mo Problems. You’ve gotta remember too that at those levels, when you lose your job you could be on the beach without a paycheck for months. So it’s not like you take a 600k job and then go buy boats and summer houses. You tuck it away so your family is protected when shit hits the fan (account lost, new CEO, etc)
I'll be completely frank here in terms of motive. I'm at a wine bar with a colleague/friend and we were reading about McCann and Eric Silver. I worked with him when he was at BBDO and he made over a million dollars then. That was maybe 2007? Eric is a big name in our business and she said he's probably 4x that by now. I said there is no way any CCOs are making more than 3 million a year. Agency economics won't support it. We can't hire talent, clients don't pay, it's egregious. I mentioned a jr staffer who after 4 years is getting a six figure paycheck and made a comment that I probably make 5x what he (a man) makes. I asked what he thought I made. His perception was so out of whack I wondered what 🐠🐟🐡💩 think about compensation.
Broadcast ECDs and CCOs make significantly more $$$ than digital. It fucks up the agency economics when clients don’t want to do “film” anymore. Without big production budgets to pay for these salaries, these roles become a huge burden on the overhead of the business. Ever wonder why your shop can only afford super junior talent? It’s because your ECD and CCO are chewing up all the budget.
OP making $120k, starting to question what's going on here
@SVP, we're just pointing out the irony of an EVP asking that question when most on here are lower level. Wasn't meant to rag on him too hard but merely to share a chuckle at the irony. We understand that EVPs have financial concerns as well.
How much does an EVP make?
@CD2 Rarely meet an ECD who's anything else than a burden.
I've seen 500-900k base. Curious as t why you ask though, made a wrong turn in life?
Varies enormously and is tied to the businesses you run. 300 - 2M kind of range.
I honestly was asking how much an EVP makes because I was curious. Was not trying to mock SVP1.
Shots fired 😬
I manage teams and have salary visibility. I make 10-15% more than people who work for me. They probably think I make 2x that!
Was mortified when I saw your initial response and thought I was the pronoun perpetrator. Back patting myself for being a general smart ass, not a sexist one.
Anyway, liked your candor and pov. You're smhhart, you got moxy.
You hiring? 😁
Maybe OP is waiting to tell us we’re all wrong.
ECD 300-600 CCO 600+
EVP and ECDs are just a waste of agency funds. Once agencies and clients realize that hopefully things will change. They usually know nothing and are out of touch with talent
Thank you @MS1. Was only saying with a title that lofty OP has probs been in the game a minute and should have a network of peeps or can casually inquire internally.
We not dealing with a VP or an SVP, but an EVP.
@EVP I agree that your friend is probably wrong about Eric. Even with bonuses and partnership, depending on the agency set up, I’d be surprised if an ECD was making even 2M. It’s just not that kind of business.
I also noticed the pronoun bs, but the business being what it STILL is, most of the posters here are probably men. No offense, fellas...
