JPMorgan Chase Did a first round interview for a senior level position at JP Morgan.. hiring manager said I should receive a call back within a couple of weeks.. been over a month.. no intimation post that.. the HR in charge of hiring or scheduling haven’t replied to my emails on what comes next and haven’t scheduled anything. So should I consider this as a dead end ? Does this generally happen at JP? Feels weird that I have been ghosted after what I felt was a very good interview.. Was a good fit too.JPMorgan Chase

Probably $3-4k or so assuming no big expenses like vacation or furniture. Two young professionals with no kids. We use our credit cards for utilities, groceries, doggy daycare twice a week, random household stuff, eat out probably 3 times a week, and we usually do one day date or date night a week (mini golf, dinner and movie, etc.). I also get my nails done regularly and like to go to the spa and stuff.

1-2k. I make enough to spend many times that but no need to be wasteful just because you make a good amount
We put all expenses on credit cards then pay off at the end of the billing cycle so no interest. We are a family of 4 and own/manage 2 rental properties. It’s 8-10k a month but that includes utilities, grocery, daycare/tuition for 2 kids plus rental property repairs/renos. I’ll add we are not glam folks, driving base model Toyotas, no pedicures, at home haircuts, and not a single designer label.
No pedicures sounds depressing!
Single 28M NYC. $700-900
The post says excluding rent. My rent is $2400 / month though
$3-5k
$1-2k
Plan your meals so that the grocery you get is all used, over excess of grocery is where a lot of money is wasted
$500 a month. I’m a cheap ass tho
Same 🤣
8-10k a month. Variable if traveling, shopping, etc.

This sounded stupid high at first, but I spend about $8k / month excluding mortgage. If everything were on one credit card, this would be slightly high for me, but not much.
If you include monthly expenses ie internet phone water gas 2.5k
I really try and limit personal items to under 1k. Biggest expense is groceries my wife and I probably spend like 200-250 a week and I pay most of the time.
Same exact thing as me. Prior to my wife, it was 1k, maybe 1.2k if I went out more.
Now, it's 4k/month
$8-$10k unless we’re traveling and then it’s more
Y’all adopting? I only need about 1-2k max/month papa :)
$600 - $1,000
Yeah most middle class / middle upper class, right? I know less privileged folks don’t but most my peers / friends have housecleaners which helps with busy professional life
$2k for two of us plus a toddler. Includes all groceries, food, and gas.
Thanks. I weirdly thought it was high before I read this thread. We are frugal because we have to be!

~ I spend about 250 a month
I spend approximately $250 a month but I pay it off every pay day. I am trying to acquire miles.
Family of 2 and it’s normally between 3-5k on a good month.

Same here.
I'm not sure why this is about spending on a credit card specifically? That balance is too inconsistent due to timing of certain purchases.
I can tell you my average monthly spending without mortgage, property taxes & tithing is about $2100?

I think OP's intention is that credit cards are a good guage on the non/less essential spending. Sure we all put groceries and insurance on our CC, but I would wager those tend to range less depending on lifestyle vs restaurants, shopping, etc.

family of 4 around 2000-2500 K.
Family of 2, 1.5 k per month
Curious to know how many of you pay the balance in full each month?
Not anymore but hopefully things turn around quickly.
Honestly without major purchases something like 3-4k a month DINK with a HHI of 250k
