With about 10 years of experience in Ireland I would say anywhere from 80k-90k is on the low end as a senior engineer and up to 110k-140k or so as a principal engineer or architect would be the high end if you manage to land one of those positions. I think software engineering salaries in Ireland usually top out around that amount besides a small number of high paying companies like meta, Google, Microsoft, stripe etc. Where you could earn up to 200k+ potentially while still in a technical lead role.
If you're looking for further salary growth well beyond 100k it's much more common to pivot to management as they generally have higher scaling.
