My natural instinct is to assume rejection if I have conflict with a partner or don’t think my feelings are reciprocated. My uncle I met a week ago suddenly died. He hid his heart condition from his wife, my aunt. He was having tea in the morning when he had a stroke. She did not have a last word or consider the possibility that he’d pass away so suddenly and soon. She is beating herself up over how he left and they didn’t have a chance to talk that morning. I had the weirdest dream. Criminals were put in a gated community under observation and they had to successfully fake their own death to get out. They were given too many drugs and alcohol. But they end up killing each other or suiciding and no one is left. Once everyone kills themselves they bring in new inmates. It was insane.
