What’s FDD like at Bain, BCG, or McKinsey?
Bain & Company Hello, I received an offer as a Senior Practice Manager at Bain. The profit sharing range is 0-12% in the offer letter. Is it typical to receive the midpoint (6%)? Also, what do the annual salary increases typically look like? Any insights are much appreciated. Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group McKinsey & Company

Sorry but that’s not going to help. If they really wanted you, trust they would be expediting it on their end. They are prob interviewing other candidates and they tier it. It goes through process of elimination from there.
Typically means you’re either not a top candidate and they’re discussing with others first or the role may be going away and they haven’t updated the posting yet. Hr is terrible at gs
I’ve noticed. Had someone reach out to me 2 weeks ago about a role. Followed up twice now and they’ve just vanished completely. Another for a role in NYC, nothing. Having the same experience w a role at BlackRock. They show this interest, then poof. Gone 😂
Yeah I interviewed for 2 at SLC but honestly would rather be in Dallas or NYC. But was able to break through a few times at least. Gonna keep on chugging
Probably just an indication that they're interviewing other people too. Wouldn't get lost or lose hope, but recruiters often just have a default way of letting candidates know when things are pending.
Did you have a personal referral? I have heard that can sometimes help. If I were you I would post in the job referral bowl and see if someone can refer you. Then I would reapply for the position and see what happens.
Why do you want to work here? GS sucks.
Every job sucks. Every company sucks. Way of the world.
I've heard Goldman Sachs could take up to four months to respond to applications
That's the stagnant phase for me. Even if you follow up a couple of times. Might as well try your luck with other companies.
