How to deal with a new boss who loves mansplaining?

He manages all female direct reports, and has a technical background, but we are a business team that doesn’t manage technical details.

This boss tends to manterrupt, deliver long manologues, and mansplain. E.g. he would suddenly ask a technical question from nowhere and start explaining for 20 minutes, while give no direction on the project.

Have my annual review with him and don’t want to be talked down. Any advice?

Found out today my toxic manager bad mouthed me to an HR rep in a different division. This correlated with his bad management and abusive behavior. Luckily the new manager I’ll soon be working with dismissed it. Her words of wisdom “reflect on what you could have done differently, you can only control your actions”. How does that resonate for you? Have you had similar experiences?

How do you deal with working on a brand that you're new on and all the past work has been awful but you're forced to continue on with the look/feel/tone of?

The principal on my team in the course of conversation was saying how I could pass for straight. And how others can’t. In front of the team I manage.

Should I be weirded out by that?

Could someone please suggest how to handle this situation?
My manager (Technology Director) sees me as an emerging thread to his position and stopped sharing details / trying to avoid including me in visible projects etc.,
FYI - His manager is the division head and Managing Director.

How do you deal with a nosy coworker ? There’s a Product Owner on my team that is always asking details about what I’m doing, who I’m speaking to and why. Today I organized a meeting with a fellow PMM and she invited him for a detail and he insisted in staying for the whole meeting. Don’t wanna be rude but I’m tired of this.

I deeply respect him—he is why I decided to stick with the company. I felt like I found my Gandalf/Yoda/Teacher. I appreciate his mngmnt style—lots of freedom and opportunity for discovery. I had an old boss join my company recently. They weren’t my direct report at my old company, but was my manager’s manager. Well, my new boss took me aside for a meeting and stated “there’s a negative perception going around about you”. She stated that her, my old boss and another member of current leadership were talking about the way I speak. She then says that my former boss told them that I wasn’t energetic enough in my last role. How should k handle this? My boss is agreeing with her

I've been working at this company for about 3.5 weeks now. Its been great so far.

We have an org chart in our dashboard ATS/HRIS and so I clicked on my first day buddies name just for fun.

I was able to see her entire employee file..even her address. I was really freaked out and I went to another profile and the same thing happened, I was able to see this person's emergency contact. Is this fucking normal? Should I say something and will I get in trouble for looking at a colleagues file?
