Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Uhhhhh, decide how bad you want this? Plus… you don’t even have the offer so really your question is not about accepting it about delaying interviews… I’d say in this market securing the role you want is more important than traveling but that’s your own priorities you need to sort out
The travel is an excuse to cover my unemployment gap while I try hold out for a larger brand firm tbh (this company is very small). I have other firms interested but got hiring issues. Wouldn't want to join this firm and leave in a few months when I have a better offer

Go ahead and travel. In fact, go as long as you want. I’ll gladly take your job since you apparently don’t want it that bad.

I have nearly a decade of copywriting experience, tons of references, and earned my SEO certification. Here’s what I want to know - if companies are passing me up, what kind of people are they hiring? Unless those postings are ghost jobs, which is a real possibility.
I’ve read a lot of business make phony job posts either to collect applicant data for marketing, or to take advantage of various state and/or federal funding and tax benefits.
Aside from the other answers:
If you get a job offer from them, be very clear about your start date. Typically you can negotiate that with the company hiring you.
Writing to say, obviously if you try to weasel the interviews too long they’re not going to hire you. Do the interviews first, and if you get the job offer, negotiate there.
Just be honest once you receive the offer. A month to finalize projects at your current role and to take some R&R is reasonable. Asking for more might raise eyebrows.
If you have to take a job right now because of finances then don't hold out just because you may find something better later. If you find something later take it. You have to think about yourself and what is a better fit for you.
There’s nothing wrong with having a gap in employment. Hiring managers who are after top talent typically don’t care about it as much if you can “sell” them on your unique skillset and what value you bring. It’s a commodity vs a luxury item convo. If they want you, they won’t care how long you’ve been out and why.
It seems to me you’re stressing yourself out for absolutely no reason… you might be better off spending this mental energy to figure out how to get in front of firms you really want and what to say to them so that it’s a no-brainer for them to hire you.
Good luck & fun travels! ❤️
Always ask the recruiter about the hiring timeline and urgency of getting the job filled.
The job market isn't that stable right now and companies are being very selective. I wouldn't gamble with employment and delay the interview. Get it over with and see what comes. You could land the job or not. But at least you'll have gotten your foot in the door and made a good impression.
I think you need to be clear in the interview about their hiring process and share to a certain degree what’s going on in your side. Communication is key in order to get what you want and have the company believe you wanna work with them.
Be up front on your start date and land the job. If your start date is extended due to them hiring you great yet you could loose the position outright by trying to scam your way through an interview. Not a great start to a new position even if they have no clue.
If you are not interested, don’t waste your and their time. Additionally you may possibly risk relationship
I am interested but only as a last resort if I can't get a better role. The annoying thing is it must be in-person so I have to do it now instead of later before I leave the area
Do others think I should mention the separate interview I have lined up at the end of the month or keep quiet about it? It'd give more reason for them to understand delaying but may plant doubt in their minds
where to start....you probably better get the job while it is there...or go travel and do you. Guess what....you can't do both. Welcome to the real world.
To be clear they're openly hiring as they're expanding, it's not just a single opening. They told me about people joining months in the future
i'm not feeln this question...at all.
Update: I got the offer. Now need to try think of wording email to defer joining 1-2 months to find preferred jobs 😬
