Do you dress up to go into the office?
PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!

Everything is great. Everything will be great.
Are you guys hiring? Asking for a friend.
You asked about morale. It is good and our high performers are excited about the new platform because they will be given the opportunity to build something that is better that the existing Deloitte and BAH platforms. Benefits are not ticking away.
@PwC5 new to fishbowl, how do I find the PwC PS Bowl?
So thoughts on switching to PwC public sector anyway from another firm? How is the bench looking?
Always are PwC1. You guys are smart folks I’m sure you’d be a good candidate.
I just jumped from PwC Public Sector to Deloitte. That’s my answer to you
However I heard people who stay until the deal is closed will have their retirement benefits fully vested. That’s pretty good.
This is true. It'll be a few minutes before you guys get showered with applications.
Deloitte is always hiring thanks to the big navy win. Now people at Deloitte is waiting for the Air Force FIAR award announcement
^i agree
D1 our of curiosity, were you fully vested? I imagine those that aren’t are waiting until closing. Im thinking there was a small wave back in feb, a slightly larger one right after closing and then the largest one after bonus payout and promos.
Yeah. I doubt they’ll roll out the big “cost takeout” plan right away, but will phase it in over time. On one hand you want to get your well deserved bonus but on the other you want to get in early elsewhere (Deloitte) ahead of the rush. Choices choices.
So what is the “party line” at PwC Federal to keep the staff from leaving?
^^ literally nothing... It’s pretty dark up in here
Also PwC1, just a disclosure. I was told consultants are not eligible for annual bonus. Just want to make you aware.
K, what was your salary range as an associate while at PS? I feel as if I am vastly underpaid.
Between 68k and 77k. The only way to make big raise in this area is to jump.
Ouch. Well, I guess it's time to keep your recruiter busy, lol.
FYI I also made the switch from PwC to Deloitte. Just curious how my former colleagues were holding up.
I’m guessing your former colleagues will be wanting to join you soon! I heard PwC Public Sector will be changing the phone plan soon.
70's as an associate is mindblowing. I can only hope you were an experienced hire.
I get the commercial part, but I still feel that's overpaying for GPS right out of school. Making 70 at 22? What a world.
