Last year when Covid broke, I received a couple of interview calls but ignored them as I felt the organization kept me at work when other companies cut short their HR staff so I should be with them even if with no appraisal. But now, I was living in the fool's paradise when I am told to leave with no job offers in hand, car and home loan, dependent parents, expecting jobless spouse with a 3-year old kid.

EY leave department hasn’t been the most helpful with the exact details around maternity leave - so just wondering for any EY mamas - how do we initiate getting the two weeks before due date off? Just a doctors note or ??? Thank you!!

Remember when Trump supporters were betting on Biden not showing up for debates? Yeah, not showing up for this debate would have been a big mistake. When I look for the part time roles I only find shady MLM and some delivery jobs. Nothing wrong in delivery jobs, but I am more inclined towards WFH role as me and my wife are pregnant.

Can you guys suggest where can I find reliable part time roles?

Hi All! For those that have had HSGs/saline sonos done, did it mess up the timing of that cycle? I’m going on 2 weeks after my period was supposed to start (and am not pregnant) and frustrated because my doctor is waiting on my period to start in order to start with IVF. Had a miscarriage.. it’s my 1st baby and we didn’t find out until 12 weeks (via ultrasound) that the baby passed away at 9 weeks and had to get a dnc. My body is still recovering.. Just want some hope or I guess stories of success after having a miscarriage. I do have pcos so it’s harder for me to get pregnant.. but it still happened. Anyone have any thoughts or advice? Does it get better..?

What are some side gigs people have done that they wouldn't pursue again today? Are there any you'd still go for, but would approach completely differently?

Thinking along the lines of:
- Platforms you'd keep away from
- Gigs that people have missed the boat on by now or instead that have just taken off only now
- Specific hustles that aren't worth the upfront cost/hassle in setting up or that are super hard to hire for
- Policies/attitudes you'd adopt going into things this time around

With timing of our performance conversations I would have to inform I’m pregnant before outcomes - then shortly after the promotion effective date I would go on a leave for due date.
