6-8y assuming you come as a senior consultant, but why being a partner is a dream? Genuinely curious
Very different from running your own business. There are several levels of partners which are still a bit of up or out so you gotta love selling.
What level would you come in as at MBB? If you’re post-MBA and get early promote at multiple levels, you can go from consultant to partner in ~7 years at MBB.
That’s absolutely not true. It’s uncommon but they do hire in experienced managers.

Not sure if consulting is for you... You said "switch jobs" instead of "exit!" I'm kidding, it was refreshing to finally see someone not use exit in that context. You've got industry experience, chase after whatever you think is best for you. In terms of B4, 31 is a great age to come in as experienced hire and get to PMD at a good age.
