Contemplating couple of options
1. Stick my head down for a couple of years in B4 and move to industry as a manager
2. Start part time Masters/MBA in CyberSec while at B4( life is going to suck though, with 0 time fr other things)
3. Get some certification, move to Industry and grow there
Agree on soft skills. Getting more in line with America management practices is critical. There are distinct difference between how managers work in India and in the US and trying to use Indian practices here will result in isolating those you are supposed to manage and a ton of pain for you.
Bottom line, what got you to S.C. will not get you into management. It isn’t about more degrees or certifications anymore. You must manage people effectively across cultural barriers.
