USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

Additional Posts in Salary Negotiations
Im not searching for a new job but an acquaintance reached out about a similar role at a similar energy company.Turns out 2 ppl threw my name in the hat. I looked into it and the position was posted 2 weeks ago.Their director wants to meet.I bet pay is one of the first things to be discussed so that no one’s time is wasted.Am I crazy for not wanting to entertain it for less than 20-25% base pay increase? Is it selfish to ask for more? I’m sure most salary conversations end in negotiation anyways?

Do they know your previously salary? I’m sure you can just say you are comfortable with that salary range and accept it
Tell them their range is where your prior role was as well so you are ok with it… they don’t need to know your previous pay history
I was in the same boat as you.
I am now making $20k lower. Steady pay but still looking for more money.
I counter offer for what I am making now.
Is your potential new job hybrid?
Do you already have the offer in hand? If not, I wouldn’t worry too much about the pay. 10k less than previous job is still more than no job at all. Also, they don’t know what you made previously if you don’t share. All you have to do is agree to what they are offering when time comes.

Maybe ask for a few more thousand and see
FINDING a position that pays less, and getting an OFFER are way different things. You do need to add some context, 10k less than 20k, or less than 100k is a huge difference. How bad do you WANT to work?? That's the real question you must answer.
