Conflicts check question: how much detail will I need to provide to (hopefully) new firm? I’ve been at the same place for a decade…so many transactions over the years! It will be easy enough to gather info by client matter number, but that doesn’t capture sub-entities and/or any other specifics.

I have joined IBM and resigned within 50 days.
Reason: project I was allocated not good and I initially rejected project but they forcefully moved to the project.I have asked multiple times to replace the project after that I have resigned.
Now manager is threatening me that I will be placed under no hire to IBM.
Is it ethical?

Where Cognizant offering more package almost 1.5 Lpa mor, but heard lot of negative review on social media like they don't have good project, no job security, they will make you to work on other tech etc . I'm starting to grow concerned that so many auditors don't seem to know the difference between the UAE and Palestine, which are entirely different countries. One of which has a large history of war with Israel. One does not. One just signed a peace agreement with Israel, but it wasn't the one stuck in a decades long war. One constantly is under threat of having land annexed by Israel, but it isn't the one in the peace agreement, and Netanyahu has already said this agreement doesn't alter plans

So, I've realised there's a problem with developers, a lot of them are coders, not engineers. And another issue, is that, companies don't really care about their progression as far as I'm aware, so what did you guys do in your own time to transition from being a coder to an engineer?

What is the difference between a Software Engineer I and II? When do you know you're ready to leave your first great SE job? Is there a way to get more money without leaving? I've been at my current company for maybe and year and a half but I'm not sure if I'm good enough to leave yet. My manager always says I'm doing well and I got promoted from SE I to SE II a few months back. I'm not sure if it's imposter syndrome or not but I just don't feel confident about interviewing at other places

I just got a job offer for an Entry Level Software Engineer at Boeing in Saint Louis. The salary is $82,000 with an $8,000 sign on bonus. I was hoping for an offer closer to 90k base and I don’t care too much for a sign on bonus. However, this is a lot more than what I’m making now, and would be my first SWE job. Should I counter? I currently work as a Contracted Software Engineer and I’m set to finish my contracted time at the end of October. To stay ahead of game I started to move forward in the interview process with another opportunity as an Application Software Programmer and just received notification that I got the position. I definitely could use the extra paycheck to help out with my financial obligations. Just wanted to see if anyone has done this before.

Just getting little depressed after being rejected from interview. Anyone else has the same feeling.Could have done better.
