What will be in hand salary.???

Microsoft is hiring an account executive and I’m really interested in the role. I have B2B sales experience in a different industry, but my skills include lead generation, prospecting, account management, negotiating, etc (all within the C Suite and other decision makers).
Would appreciate knowing if this is something I have a shot at with no tech sales experience and what I could expect for promotional opportunities and compensation.
Thanks for the help!

For PwC fishes who left recently, how did you consolidate wealth builder into 401k within benefits express to avoid the 20% federal tax withholding that was described in the benefits package? I tried to do this online but it didn’t show as an option except to rollover to an existing IRA or take a final distribution. Do I need to call benefits express?

Why not just stop working as hard? That’s what I’ve done and I’m still rated well (as a senior manager) but enjoy a much happier life. I do what I need to make my staff happy, appease my partners, and get quality work done, but I no longer do extra. I don’t do digital stuff, extra curriculars (like helping with market team meetings or trainings), etc. It’s really made me enjoy my time here more and realize that I like the firm, and I want to move into an IFS role eventually so that I can stay at the firm but not worry about audit.
Become a beekeeper and sell at farmers market? Clean houses? Mow lawns? Learn a trade? In all honesty, I’d go 50% with PwC if I were you. Keep good name on your resume but take some time while you try and figure out what’s next for you
Sorry irrelevant. I just always thought you guys make 400-500k. wow I was off hahaha
I concur. 200 where you’d start in most deal or specialty tax verticals in hcol.
But anyway, OP, that’s great that you’re willing to make some sacrifices for things that are important to you. You’ve given quite the wiggleroom to make something happen. Probably will be very easy to make that and cash out to an industry position, even if it weren’t purely accounting related. You’ve proven to take on a big boy/girl job for this long all the way up to director... so you’ll have no issues in any kind of interview proving work ethic and ability to juggle tasks. Literally you can apply anywhere, and your concession in pay makes the over qualified point moot.
Be audit you can be
That’s the problem at our level my friend. The open industry roles recruiters keep pushing in our faces are serious jobs with serious responsibilities.

Sabbatical option might be witth looking into. I think I recall hearing PWC allows it. I know it’s an option for partners on down at KPMG.

Any specific improvement in health benefits? I may be naive, but I assumed B4 would have great benefits due to the company size.
Pro
Agreed. I’m at a smaller, but national firm and my out-of-pocket cost for vision, dental (including ortho), and $2k deductible PPO health insurance is <$1k/year.
Have you tried looking for an internal position?

I think you‘ll find what you are looking for soon. 100k for a PwC director is a steal most companies would jump on
This is probably your ballpark: https://joinfishbowl.com/post_0hfpjl
I think you secretly love audit.
So no one has good suggestions for different / flexible / mediocre job for me. Good posts dissecting big4 Director salaries lol
I would recommend OFRO. I was at your level and basically led a practice in Assurance. I was able to fully transition off client service in about 1.5 months. Unlimited WFH, no pay cut, 9-5, and a stable gig. Great to not have to deal with clients and travel (pre/post COVID). I would keep looking for open roles.
