I am a manager with a masters in education. I’m debating leaving for a 1 or 2 year MBA but is it worth it? I know many people who get MBAs to be in the position that I’m already in. Thoughts?

Do most firms start reporting years in September or January? Prior firm did an August year for counting hours and then another did January (both Amlaw 200). So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. Manager Ratings: Generally speaking, in consulting, for a long term project, if there’s a team of 6 people (1 person managing everyone, and below that person 5 different people who are associates or senior associates) is there pressure on the manager to give at least 1 of the 5 associates/senior associates a bad review? Assuming everyone performed anywhere from good to great, would a lot of managers feel it would make them look bad to let all 5 have a good review?
