I am a recent graduate for medical billing & coding and I’m find it hard to find a job so much so that I’m thinking of going back to school for something else. Should I stick it out and just continue to look for medical billing & coding type/ related jobs or go for something else.

If you are able to go to school without taking on debt then maybe but it might be worth sticking it out. How long have you been looking?

I have been looking for about 4 months after my Externship finished.

Maybe you can switch up your strategies for how you look. Try spam applying, try networking, try using AI?

I’m in a little of a pickle but a good one. Offer A. Established “start up” doing well financially and projected to hit profitability. 130k base. Stocks offered, unlimited PTO, and 70% Medical covered. Offer B. Is at a business much larger…90k salary with 10% bonus and generous stock offering. Titles are different which is why the pay is much different. I know some may think it is a no brainer but offer A allows me to grow the department ground up whereas offer B id be apart of to just different

Which companies have best WLB, least stressed DS/DA roles? I’ve been suffering from some immunology issues and stress from work would worsen it, therefore I want to move to a company/role with good benefit (esp. healthcare) and great WLB (little chance of PIP, etc). Doesn’t have to be high-paying, as long as it can support my life (single) and long-term medical cost. Thanks in advance.

I very recently accepted the position of Sourcing Specialist at TidalHealth - a large Heathcare group in my area. A few of my target positions include Medical Laboratory Scientists. If those in this group can provide me knowledge on what you are looking for in employment offers, salary expectations, the ideal work environment, and any/all factors that would help me in my quest to improve my work ability.

I appreciate any and all responses!
