Hi Guys,
I had referred my friend in CTS, who joined in Feb 2022 & will complete 3 months (active payroll) on 15-May-2022. I received a mail confirming my referral acceptance.
Meanwhile, I have handed in my papers & am serving my notice period with my LWD being 23-May-2022. In this case, will I receive the referral bonus?

Salary?
Salary is 80k, with I think a 10% annual bonus and some other performance bonuses that come in as stock and cash
Are you a cpa ? Deloitte salary vs Main Street capital offer? I’m a senior in audit in same industry. Dm me if you want to chat further can give pretty good advice. You should mention what is the AUM, seems like a small shop I googled and around 3-4b. Not a bad thing could be great opportunity, like I said need more details to give you my input.
Update: The AUM is 6.7 billion
Small shop you’ll learn a lot for sure, not a bad opportunity pay is decent and you’ll get way better bonus. Question I have is what is your main or motive reason for leaving? Do you really feel like you grasped fund audits to pivot to industry after 1 year??? You’ll be fine in industry, just want to understand why ready to leave so quickly.
I'm looking at it from more of a money perspective, if I'm honest. I've read there is good money in fund accounting, the hours won't be break me like they are in PA (I worked several overnights during busy season), and I'd like to be part of a consistent team rather than getting shuffled around every few months like I am now.
My hesitancy is that it is early in my career to exit PA, some posts I have seen make fund accounting out to be the end of the line once you get into it with no exit opportunities, and I've recently been switched into a new long-term team that I'm starting to enjoy.
Ultimately the interviews are still happening and even if I get the job I can say no if it's not a good fit. I'm just trying to determine if it is, or if it's better to hang on another 1-2 years and see if PA is better. I know that when I hit senior I won't likely make the same amount that I will starting at this fund job, but I think it will be close, in terms of base salary, right?
If looking at it from money perspective this early in ur career I’d stay at big 4?
