I am currently working in SOC operations(security delivery associate). In my current situation am handling 5 projects and being overworked. It feels more like a support role. I didn't even get promotion or recognition even after working so hard, did client facing work and also gave techleap multiple times(which i know was more than just decent). am thinking of moving to another security role mostly VAPT. Can someone help me how to make this career transition internally and also how to prepare.

I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services.
