Hi All, I have 3.5 yrs of experience in Product Management and I'm interviewing at JP Morgan chase for Senior Product Manager role and Product Manager role, for Seattle Location. What kind of salary range should I give for each role when the recruiter pops up this question? JPMorgan Chase
I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

Well, goods for you.
It also sounds like you’ve honed your chat GPT skills to write your Fishbowl messages. Well done.
What role are you aiming for?
I am hoping to start with a more familiar role..Sales, coordination or management .. Depending on what the opportunities are..I am sure I can fit in. I am T shaped
You could easily go into Sales for a couple of years and then go into Project Management. Especially after obtaining a certification.
I would suggest pursuing government contractors because their manufacturing processes are unique and valuable to the market.
Don't know how you feel about work stress, but this position can be relatively easy to do. Yet there can be political pressure to ensure timeliness without being the boss. Most project managers I've known, do not take the blame. They are just the liaisons between management and everyone involved in the process.
Sorry to say, but as an engineer, this job seems like a glorified secretarial position that pays more than it should. I've had to play the part in the absence of such help and it's pretty straight forward. Especially if you have a decent memory. On the other hand, I think it's difficult for people with poor memories or people who can't organize a lot of information.
Thank you, I appreciate this greatly. Please keep an eye for me on those roles. if you do have any recommendations or opportunities please don't hesitate to notify me..
Outstanding
Helpdesk sounds like a great role for you!
Not a bad one.. let me know more about it, and if you have such role avaliable..
One of us! One of us! One of us! Congratulations and good luck on your new endeavor!
I was talking with a Director today. And they have requested I abstain my PMP certification so I'm looking to talk with someone about this and see how the roles are lead and how the certification helps in the Career Path. If anyone could offer me any insight it would be up most appreciated. Thanks in advance Currently a Operations Manager and Environmental Services Manager/Compliance Trainer.
Congratulations! I’m on a simple path myself.
If you already have project coordination skills and are going for your PMP, I think you're on the right track. If project mgmt is something you enjoy doing, PM work can be very lucrative.
Keep going! You got this!
Thank you so much.. I am still looking for opportunities that will help me build hands-on experience.
