I am looking to transition into global markets side of CM, with preference to FX, Sec lending or fixed income (but ultimately open to any desks as a starting point).
I have around 7 yoe in transaction banking sales covering financial institutions (mostly publicly traded global banks).

What are some things I can do to make the transition other than networking and coffee chats? Is there a desk that would best suit my background more than others?

I started a job with a restaurant as part time they hired me at a higher wage but after working for one week the other manager came to me telling me that they can’t afford what the other manager and I agreed on so now i have to work at less or I could look for another work options, she meant I should leave otherwise. What should I do?

I want to move to Europe or New Zealand. I am educated/barred in the US and only speak English. Is this hopeless, or are there opportunities out there for someone like me?
