I am resuming my work from my maternity leave and have two months old baby. My manager is expecting me to be there in office 3 days a week.The commute from home to office is two hour drive (current org)which is not possible for my current situation, I prefer to work from home if not there is EY office which is 30mins drive(different org).Is there any option where I can ask for transfer for the different org or any suggestions where I can work around with my manager to allow me to work from home

I started working recently. I got my semi monthly pay recently and I use all of the semi monthly pay(not including 401k and IRA) for rent. (So 50% in total) Is that too much? Starting salary is pretty bad in here.
