Traveling ad peeps 🛫, How many of you actually put your phone in airplane mode when told to do so?

Was a Director at my last shop (12 yrs exp), moved to biggest shop in my new state as a Sup. w goals to grow. Just had a baby, and I’ve been passed up for promos the last 2 years to a man. Now what?

My position in sales, growing existing accounts with my company, is being eliminated in October. I either take a bit of a pay cut to do something really similar but more stable on the service side, or move to new business (which is not attractive to me), or I find something new. Is it fair they are having me interview just to basically keep my position after 7 years of doing it successfully meeting targets? Or is it time for me to look elsewhere?

Trying to learn more about crypto. Is it still a thing? Becoming more of a thing? Any experts here that can share basics or info on where to educate myself?

I’m looking to carve out my career in HR. I have 2 years in a dedicated HR Coordinator role (essentially with Generalist duties) and 5+ years in senior level hospitality management. Hi everyone! I Have an interview tomorrow at a firm that is much larger than the firm I currently work at. I currently work with 1 attorney and this firm has approximately 30 attorneys- so this will be a huge adjustment for me if they offer me a position. That being said, are there any questions I should absolutely ask the employer? Is there anything you wish you asked on your interview that you didn’t? So I got 2 offers, 1 at a well-known firm (that I previously worked at, not as an atty) that offered 80K plus full benefits (100% health coverage, PTO, sick days, discretionary bonus & 1800 billable req.) Their a little old school in their methods but I do see the younger gen. coming in to make changes. 2nd offer is at a newer firm however i’ve heard great things, and they offered 80k, unl. PTO, 1500 billable hours, bonus incentives qrtrly, & 50% health ins. WHY can’t I make a decision? HELP

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

Hi super mamas! I desperately need advice on toddler sleep training! Our daughter was sleep trained when at 7 months and she’s been the best sleeper ever. Now she’s 2.5 YO and starting to not want to sleep until I stays in her room until she falls asleep and she also wakes up 1-2 times at night crying asks for mama and walks out of the bed until I come in and put her down- by sitting next to her bed. If I don’t go in, she would sit on the floor outside of her bed for hours without sleeping!

3 yrs ago I applied for HBS 2+2 and get ding.

This year, I got GMAT 760 GPA3.9+, plus an advanced degree from Top 10 school.

I did tons of volunteer work with leadership position in organizations. I got two promotions on fast track in a fortune 50 company. Supervise 4 employees. Hire a very good consultant and I really think my essays are really good.

And then... I only apply for GSB and HBS...now HBS even no interview dinged...
