I am S2 in KPMG getting 98k recently interviewed with EY, is 125k too much to ask for?????

What do you think a social worker with 8 years of experience should be making in Santa Barbara, CA? I make like 50k a year and I feel like I could potentially be making more if I leave my current job. Just want to know for sure before I start looking since it's a risky time to be leaving work. In two interviews the interviewer asks me about one topic which I know theoretically and some practical. I directly said to the interviewer that I am not an expert in that, but if I get my hands on it then I can learn in one day.

After asking two questions again he came on the same topic this happens twice in two interviews. Mere ko lag raha hey Jaan bujhke questions same topic pe puchte hey, so that they don't select that candidate.

I’ve been at my company for 10+ years. I’m not happy with the culture but have flexibility I enjoy, seniority for the time I’ve been here, and pays well. An new job opportunity came up as a Tax Manager but in a different industry which could expand my skillset in different ways, but is not as flexible and the pay is 20k lower.
