Need some advice here. I am a fullstack developer with 5 yoe in Angular and Python. My aim is to crack FAANG companies. Now I got an offer from HSBC in a credit risk model monitoring role using Python. It is close to a data engineer role.
My question is that will it be a good idea to shift from development role to a model monitoring role if I want to move to FAANG in the future?Or does FAANG not prefer people who are not in core development roles?Amazon Microsoft Google Adobe PwC EY Citi Barclays JPMorgan Chase

Idk about that course but you can get the knowledge for free by using different resources.
But if you do need Mtech in your profile check different organisations and iiy Madras has also one degree ,but I don't think company will look into your degree, they only care about your skills.
Thank you, will look into these resources

Why do you want to do mtech if you just want to learn AI and ML
Just looking for courses to learn AI, came across this and thought maybe I can get a full time mtech degree along side job
I know many who have done this course and all have said it is useless.
The number of jobs in data science is small fraction of what is available for salesforce. Why are you jumping into sinking ship
Not exactly data science but Artificial intelligence, after hearing AI everywhere here and there just wanted to be on the safe side if at all this is the future
There syllabus is outdated also you have to do few useless assignments similar to what engineering courses.
You can explore other courses if you are looking for good knowledge.
Just for degree this course is fine.
