What do you want to achieve ? It’s an investment , so you need to define an outcome you are hoping for.
I want to be more technical. I feel like just being in a business role isn’t tangible enough for the future of this industry. But maybe I am overthinking it.
Why do you feel incomplete? Chances are, that feeling is not about your education. Your background and role have given you you plenty of tools, you just need to apply them to different problems or in different ways. Over-education isn’t a great response unless you are completely changing careers / paths.
Makes complete sense. Maybe ask to shadow some folks in other roles that are of interest. Question them about what they used to do and how they made transitions. Often times these folks moved into these roles from something else. A smaller certificate might make more sense than a big 2-yr program.

I am strongly considering it
If you are in tech, check how you can train internally, target certification. You will probably learn quicker than a MBA and get internal opportunities, or look for jobs.
Networking with people is also a must.
And please stop the impostor syndrom !!
I don't know that I would necessarily say it is worth it because you already have an MBA. I just dont' see how that would benefit you more than what you already have. Unless your company is paying for you to go back to tschool I don't think I would.
MBAs are really just paying for connections. Do you have a good network? If yes, then no.
I question this every time I see it. While a vast number of connections and networking is done in business school, I truly believe there’s a valuable education that comes with the right MBA program. Can you learn what they teach from books? Yes but you can say that about most subjects
Don't discount the value of doing SOMETHING to move forward. Once you start, you can always change degrees/programs, but starting is the hard part.
If you don't need the credential of a college degree, there are tons of technical training sites and certifications that can give you the same level of knowledge and industry respect without the cost/commitment of a school.
I got an advanced degree from night school a long time ago and it was one of the best career decisions I have made.
