I applied for two roles (at different times) within the Cloud Supply Chain group and for both roles I was asked to complete an assessment. Luckily I already had passed assessment for a role I interviewed for about a year ago (made it to the final round but decided to go with another candidate).

Both roles have been active for about 3 weeks and both applications status have been stuck at “Assessment Passed” for the past 2.5 weeks. Is this common? A recruiter reached out to me directly before.

Any ideas on how to negotiate a delayed start date? I really want it to be Jan. My mental health needs some time off and this company breezed through interviews to offer in 1 week when I was expecting it to take at least a month. I really need some time to recover from burnout.

What is some advice you all can share to move up the corporate ladder quickly? If you can, share what we’re your timelines from position to position!

Currently scheduling “on sites” for a S&O role in CA. My referrer said they can hire as L5 or L6. Would like to land in the L6 bucket as I’ve heard 5 --> 6 is one of the more challenging promotions.

I've had 2 rounds of interviews at Google (UK) for a non-tech role in Platforms & Ecosystems (L4/L5). Recruiter told me that I've been selected for the final rounds (GCA + Leadership Interview). From his feedback, one thing they wanted me to improve on was the GCA Questions. Would anyone have any tips on how to prepare for these? I've checked some of Jeff Sipe videos online but would appreciate any support! I find GCA quite stressful...
