I came into EY as a Senior 1, I’m now a Senior 3. Should I wait until Manager promotion next year to look for a job to maximize my options? Or would my candidacy be roughly the same if I started applying now?

I believe title progression is Staff > Senior > Manager > Senior Manager > Director > PPMD (please correct me if I’m wrong, it hasn’t been relevant to me past manager).

If you're ready (basically already functioning as a manager for a project/workstream) then you can work with your counselor to create a business case and you can go for it.

Although very much likely you will be asked to wait until next year as S3 promotions are reserved for star candidates and high performers and promotion at S4 is more common (at least in my competency).

Title progression:
Staff > Senior > Manager > Senior Manager > MD/Partner

play both sides and prepare for each! you can be looking always but still doing things to build your promotion case

As an experienced, SHRM certified HRBP , I would just like some feedback on your opinion of the differences in the roles between an HRBP an HR Manager besides the obvious that the manager should have direct reports. I am an HRBP and work in step with 3 HRM’s. They all 3 just got out of cycle raises of between 5-20% 😳 and I received nothing. I am quite aware of our HR code that salary is confidential but I was told about this. Would you be looking for other employment? Or stay?

I’m also interviewing for Senior consultant role also at Deloitte. How much would this typically pay?
Torn whether to stay within NHS as I will be getting an internal promotion or move to Deloitte.
