Honestly though, it makes me sad to see. I hate that this is our country. I mean, innocent until proven guilty but clearly the majority party isn't really interested in whether or not proof exists. They want yo put up the façade and get their guy in.

@S&S1. I must not have been clear. My bad. She has nothing to gain... best case scenario for her is a big book deal but that it nothing compared to what she and her family are going through.
And BK has everything to lose (his career, his wife and kids) if the truth comes out.
So in that situation I’m going to believe the person who has nothing to gain over the person who has everything to lose.
But... judges might be “comfortable” but they are far from wealthy
@Director 1, Dr. Ford had plenty to lose by testifying and coming forward. She had to relive her nightmare over and over again in graphic detail under a national microscope, after years of therapy to put it behind her, she will probably always be known for this terrible incident rather than her dozens of published papers and incredible academic accomplishments, she put her life on hold since now she’s being doxxed and has to live in hiding often separated from her family. The reason only a third of sexual assault victims come forward is because coming forward is like being assaulted all over again. Believe me, I know. She’s a fucking hero and a badass and I hope she gets her life back and it’s better than ever, because she fucking deserves the world.
Seriously it's so intense. If I were a dude, I might believe him. (Nothing against dudes, just saying I can't not believe her). 👊🏼
Committee vote is tomorrow, which will most certain approve Kavanaugh. The real test will be the senate. Even if Kavanaugh is voted down trump has plenty of time to select new nominee

Regardless, his “comfortable” affords him a lot more privilege than others have. And that’s just the economics. Not talking about the white male aspect of privilege
Don’t absolve Feinstein in all this. She sat on (and most likely leaked Fords letter to the press). Fact is, this could have been investigated by council behind closed doors and not turned into the circus that we all experienced yesterday. Dr. Ford could have spoken her truth and not been dragged through the mud
