Is MBB hiring right now ?
Hi everyone,
I have a total 9+ work ex in Devops and Release Management. Did an executive mba with a goal of breaking into Program management but got recruited into Management Consulting . In this company for the past 3 months.
I feel that my overall skills are better off in a TPM/Program Management role.
My overall experience makes me eligible for most PM roles.
My question is how do I prep for a TPM role since I don’t have development or Scrum Master exposure. Amazon India VMware BrowserStack Inc.

Bain & Company Got dinged after a final round AC interview with Bain & Company as an experienced hire with 1 YOE. Currently at $75k base salary and on average work 30-40 hours a week.
Considering $15-25k increase in salary, but double the number of work hours, is it worth reapplying to Bain next year or better to wait to apply until after business school?

I’m sure you did better than you think. They are a part of the application but as far as I am aware, they’re worth less than other parts.
People have made mistakes in them and still gotten interviews.
That being said, it’s never a good idea to place all your bets on MBB. Make sure you apply broadly.
They are looked at more if you’re an edge case in interview rounds vs as screener, at least for target campus recruiting. Eg if you totally f’ed up the math somehow but otherwise did well, we might ask for your solve score to get comfortable with attributing math mistakes to nerves / fluke vs. fundamental capability
I feel like this question gets different responses depending on who answers them. The reality is recruiting is a black box, I’m sure they matter, otherwise they wouldn’t waste millions on administering them. How much they matter, only HR knows
