Hi everyone. A PDM specialist here. Joined Deloitte 5+ years back as ‘Senior Solution Engineer -On-site’.Later in June 2017 all these ‘on-site’ folks got rebranded as PDM. Slowly started to realize how PDM is getting sidelined as a ‘discountable’ group. Sometimes I feel contract jobs are better than being at PDM , but obviously tied up with D for visa related issues. No career progression so far and don’t see any positive changes in the near future as well.I think it’s high time to call it a day.

Just last week, I was able to make an arrest that stopped a criminal from committing further crimes in the area. I also helped a family in distress after they were involved in a car accident, providing them with emotional support and assistance until they were safely taken care of.
I've been able to deescalate numerous situations between citizens and prevent violence from occurring. It's truly rewarding to be able to make a positive impact on the lives of those around me!
I vividly remember a time when I was able to assist an elderly woman who a group of individuals was harassing.
I helped a young family who had been displaced due to their home burning down. I was able to connect them with local resources so they could get back on their feet and find a new place to live.
Yesterday I helped an elderly widow who hadn't been able to access her mail for days because of a fallen branch blocking her driveway.
A week ago we arrested a guy on domestic violence charges. He had been abusing his wife for 10 years, yelling at her every day and threatening to do something to their kids. I will never forget the look of relief on her face when we took him out of the house in handcuffs.
7 years ago I helped a boy on the streets, it looked like he was about to get involved in drugs when he saw me in uniform I think he felt that he was going to have a heart attack, the boy was a very nervous person and he only followed what His classmates told him, I scared him and I told him that every day I was going to pass near his school and that if I saw him with those boys I was going to stop him, today the boy thanks me for doing that, he didn't go near the drugs and is a great person.
Thanks to my uniform I was able to help a lot of people, but few say thank you, it's something rare, once I helped an old woman to recover her precious car, it was the only thing she had beside her house of valuable and it was the car that her deceased son had arranged for him then there was an emotional attachment.
I really feel that I have helped many people but few are capable of giving thanks, I understand that it is our responsibility to help and serve but at the same time it is a matter of politeness to say thank you when we help you with something, right?
One of the times that I felt better wearing my uniform was when I helped a lady prevent her from being murdered by her husband, we received a domestic violence call, we went to the site and when I opened the door the lady told me that everything was fine but her face She had a certain gesture when I realized I proceeded immediately, her husband told her that if she said something she would hurt the children, that's why she put up with the abuse, the lady thanked me for that.
I have a story with a happy ending, during my guard, I went to many clubs and in one of those I saw a girl leave a bar in strange conditions, she was with a gentleman. I decided to follow them because the situation caught my attention, they stopped at a hotel and the man was forcing her to go down and she did not want to but it was clear that she was also under the influence of substances, he began to hit her and there I stopped him. When she recovered, she told us that he was her husband a while ago but she divorced, since she was an immigrant she could not receive her resident papers because he denied it and from time to time he drugged her to abuse her, months later she He arrived at the police station and told me that thanks to my arrest, she was able to receive her documents through the VAGUA method, I think her name is.
I have received many thanks, the one that moves me the most is that of some children for having saved some puppies from being killed by other children who wanted to make a video.
