I don’t know when to do the CPA exam. I passed one section and let it lapse. I’m also 5 months pregnant so I’m not sure if it’s possible to pass them before the exam changes. Does anyone have any advice?

Should I specialize in Blockchain or AI? I’m a freshman in a CS degree and I can’t decide. My main argument to choose blockchain is the easy entry with little experience and high salary, I plan on growing my skills during the bear market and get a job once the market recovers. If we leave public accounting before passing the cpa exam, how do we go about verifying all our work experience/hours once we’ve moved into industry? Still want to get cpa, but moving into industry

California peeps. I have a feeling I failed FAR, which is my last exam, but my score isn’t released until May 11. Can I submit the reapplication with the CA Board of Accountancy to speed up the retake and NTS process in case I failed? Or do I need to get my exam score first? I need to pass by mid June, else my REG score expires, hence the rush to resubmit the re-application.

I’ve taken FAR a few times at this point. I got two 74s and this past one I got a 70. I felt like the last exam (which was a few weeks ago) was extremely harder than the other ones. Has anyone else noticed the exam getting extremely tough? Or do you think I just got a one off?

I’m so happy to say that after about 5 years of being here, I’m finally done with the exam!!!
