Currently interviewing with Facebook (Meta) and looking for advice from other Technical Recruiters that recently joined. Prob have better exit ops after title change even if you don’t stay a full year after promotion
The higher your salary the harder it is to find a new job.
Thanks for the response! The funny thing here is I don’t necessarily like being in the weeds. I want to be managing people, recruiting, training, doing business development, etc. Seems kind of like this may be a good fit for me.
If the effective date of the promotion is in the next couple months, then stick around. You can leave shortly after, but the promotion to manager will be a safety net for your resume if you end up hating the next job. Otherwise, you’ll be required to keep Sr. Acct on the resume. Also, consider the pay raise at the current firm and that (i assume) you’ll now be bonus eligible.
Yea, that’s a tough situation. Only you know what’s best. Good luck!

Do the final round interviews, and see what they offer. You can always say no to the offer.
