I get so focused on work that I forget to eat and drink water. After breakfast I remember to eat when I shut off laptop at the end of the day…anyone relate?

I have only ever had this problem when I am medicated, mostly noticed it with adderall. Could that be the reason for your low appetite too?

I know the feeling of working from home while managing three kids means my meals are usually whatever I can grab between calls. I’ve started prepping small lunch boxes for myself like I do for them, it weirdly helps. Could prepping something ahead help you stay nourished?

I notice it when I finally look at the clock and I'm 10 hours into a 7 hour day and I'm wondering why I've got a blinding headache.

like

Yes, and it's actually really unhealthy for me! I remember to drink coffee but water and food? Nope. I've actually had to start setting an alarm on my phone to remind myself to eat every couple hours or else I get low blood sugar and start getting shaky.

like

Same…I remember to drink coffee

Yep same here - it’s a fantastic way to stay slim and sassy. I’m 34 and have birthed 2 kids and have maintained the same weight since 18. I have a large ice coffee black in the am and drink water through out the day tho.

smart

All the time. I take my meds with breakfast, and after they kick in I have no appetite or desire to eat. It's helped me lose weight, which is great, but I feel like a strung out zombie most days. I'm trying to be better about it and force myself to eat anyway, but it's hard to do when you're not the least bit hungry.

Same page..I’m not worried about eating because when I’m out of zone I eat healthy as much as possible but skipping water for straight 10 hours leads to fatigue which I know I have to work upon

This post is an alert message for anyone joining the Johnson & Johnson EMEA account for SAP & had Rakesh Sharma for their Manager round.

He is nothing less than a con man & will promise you a lot to make you join the account. After that he will put you in testing projects. If you ask for a release, he will either not release you or release with a very bad rating and influence other project managers to not take you into their projects.

You will be left with no choice other than leaving TCS.

All, I’ve been a lawyer for six years plus a judicial clerkship. While I love the law, I pretty much hate the current practice of it. I’m looking to do something with my law degree but not necessarily stay in practice. Any suggestions? Every time I look I get so overwhelmed that I stop looking.

I keep starting huge projects or hobbies and being intensely into it for about 10 days/2 weeks, after which I forget about it and the project just lays around my house for months until I get interested in it again or I toss it out/donate it. How can I be less impulsive OR how can I stay motivated past the 10 day mark?? TIA

Googling ADHD today (I’m having a distracted day) and super frustrated because I’m realizing that I was likely misdiagnosed as depressed for years. I was taking SSRIs and dealing with awful side effects while I struggled for so long. I finally got an official diagnosis about 10 years ago but was never taught the symptoms or how to manage them. Found you tube channel ADDitutde magazine. Several really good presentations with recent developments Thought I’d share.

It’s looking like my job is gonna start asking us to return to the office. We have an open office plan and before we wfh FT I would save all my work for my telework days bc I can’t get shit done in the office. I’m having major anxiety about them making this decision. I know I’m not alone that people don’t want to return to the office. My ADHD and the open office just makes working from the office a nightmare and I’m feeling really nervous and kind of resentful.
