I got a new job and just wanted to do a comp check..! I have 5 YOE (most in public accounting) and will be working at a tech company in NY as a financial analyst. I'll be getting 40k RSUs (vested over 4 years) and starting base of 105k, so effectively 115k. I think it's a bit on the low side, but it's a new industry/role and great team so am somewhat ok with it (albeit HCOL). Curious to hear thoughts!

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.
