Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?

Hard no on salary cut; it takes years to get it back up no matter what they tell you. Source: took a 30% cut to join B4 from industry and have yet to get pay back up to prior levels - and it's been years of high performance ratings.
Sounds like you already know the answer
A unicorn can afford to pay high salaries do not take it don’t do the company a favor
Usually I want at least 2/4 to make a move
Salary
Growth
WLB
Responsibility
sounds like this new company would offer only 1/4
Is the salary half of what you make now or your full compensation package? If the full package, not sure I would do it. But if the whole package is close to current and you have the opportunity to make a lump sum when the unicorn goes public, then the move appears more appealing.
^^ this. Did they give you stock to make up the difference?
... the company doesn’t pay high salaries in general. The position is increased impact and responsibility. But I’m not sure about progression or exit opportunities from there.

No on the salary cut.
